Sally Van Horn has been in real estate since 1987. She has been an owner of her own real estate agency and insurance agency, former independent bank president. Sally is known for being a buyer/seller agent, contract negotiator. Patty was born and raised in the Phoenix area. She left the area for Las Vegas, where she resided for 30 years with her husband Mike. After retiring in 2005, they traveled the U.S. in their motorhome full-time. In 2007 they purchased an RV lot in Happy Trails and were residents until June of 2012. At that time they purchased a home in Peoria to be closer to family. Patty enjoys the RV life style, golf and 4-wheeling.Patty was a licensed Realtor in Nevada for almost 15 years, where she earned numerous Top Production Awards as well as her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) Designations. Only approximately 2% of all real estate agents earn the CRS designation. Since joining Surprise Realty, Patty has been a member of the West Maricopa County (WeMar) President's Roundtable in 2011, 2012 and 2013. A minimum annual sales of $2,000,00 is required for this award. Patty has also been the Top Producing Agent with Surprise Realty from 2010 through 2013. "I'm very happy to be part of Surprise Realty. Greg has been in real estate since 2005. He is a native of Illinois and a 23 year veteran of the Boeing Company in Seattle. He retired in 2001 and after traveling around the country became a resident of Happy Trails in the Fall of 2001. Greg embraces Surprise Realty's belief that "…service and customer satisfaction is first." William "Bill" Bonar has been with Surprise Realty since October 2010. Bill and his wife lived in Happy Trails for 4 years until purchasing a home in Maricopa County. They have many friends in the park both full and part time residents. Bill is a Vietnam veteran and has spent 29 years in law enforcement, retiring from the King County Sheriff's Office in Washington, as a Sergeant in 2006. Married with two grown sons, he and his wife enjoy traveling in their motor home, remodeling and landscaping their new home and Bill likes to restore old cars. Bill likes to meet with people and help them with any of their real estate needs at Happy Trails as well as any of the areas around the West Valley.
Mike has been a Real Estate Agent since Feb 2013. He is a native of the far north coast of California. [ Humboldt County, Redwood country ] He graduated from Fortuna High School in 1956. Went into the Air Force and was discharged in 1960. He worked in the logging industry for 12 years as a log truck driver and loader operator. In 1972 he and his new wife Pam started Fortuna Iron Works, a steel fabrication shop. It grew to 10 employees in 15 years. He and Pam sold out in 1987. He worked for Pacific Lumber Co for a few years as a welder mill wright and later a heavy equipment operator. In 1995 he went back on his own building homes. He held three California Contractors Licenses, structural steel, fencing and general building contractor. He came to Happy Trails in 2000. He worked in Happy Trails as a builder and handyman until 2012.
Susan was born in Minnesota and moved to Washington State as a teenager. She graduated from Central Washington State University with a teaching degree and has lived all over the state of Washington, but now calls Spokane home during the summers. She has 4 grown children and enjoys spending time with them and her grandchildren and also enjoys traveling in her motorhome. She owned a small RV park in Texas where she used to spend her winters, but now Happy Trails is her winter home. She has 2 sisters who live here in the park, and her parents live in Sun City West. She was a Real Estate agent in the Renton-Issaquah area of Washington for 20 years and just joined the team at Surprise Realty the first of the year.

Carol, our rental agent and office manager, has been with us since 2008. She is originally from Illinois and lived for 23 years in the Seattle, WA area in Kent & Kenmore. She and her husband, Greg, have one daughter, son-in-law and grandson in Puyallup, WA. Her background was in accounting at a wholesale food importer, imprintable sportswear company and a CPA's office, all in Seattle. She retired in 2001 and RV'd around the country, landing at Happy Trails and have not left. The Happy Trails fever took hold. Still a Summer RV'er, she is knowledgeable about the lifestyle and needs to accommodate our visitors.
